Excellent food, good prices, friendly service. Atmosphere is down and basic, as you might expect a long-time BBQ joint in the middle of the country (which it's not!)

Really good BBQ. We got the BBQ sampler for 1 and Beef Brisket Sandwich. The sampler would have been enough for 2 people for lunch. Maybe add a side

It’s not a fancy joint but the food is certifiably the best BBQ in Massachusetts. Ribs, wings, brisket, the works. No misses. Been going to Tennessee’s for 17 years without a misfire. It’s that good.

Food was excellent. Quick affordable delicious smoked BBQ. Menu is a pretty good size as well. I got the 1/2 chicken with three sides for 15.99 and what a steal that price is. A ton of food! My lady got the chicken burrito and it was packed with food and flavor. Their sides are great too! I got a sweet potato, cucumber salad and corn on the cob that was to die for. Will definitely be returning back to this place. So close as well!

Stopped by spur of the moment for a quick lunch. Good barbecue. Lots of options, plus tons of sides to choose from. We got the Piggy platter (baby back ribs, sweet pulled pork, sausage link) which came with cornbread and 2 sides - I got the Southern green beans and cucumber salad. Also had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, with coleslaw. Favorites: the Carolina pulled pork (tangy vinegar based sauce-one of the best pig sauces I've had) with sweet vinegar based coleslaw on top. So much meat piled on we had to eat some with a fork before we could pick it up. Memphis baby back ribs - meaty and tender, just enough sauce for flavor. Green beans - great flavor, stewed with bacon, celery and onions but still not mushy, or colorless. Cornbread was also good, more cakey and sweet but very nice . Sweet pulled pork was also tasty but I preferred the Carolina. Sausage had good flavor but a bit dry. Cucumber salad was good, if a little sweet. Prefer mine a bit more vinegary. Overall great experience, will go again! (And bring my kids, their kids menu looked great too! My girls will be happy that they have ribs and chicken legs on the kids menu!)

Just simply a great BBQ place. Ive been to a few of the most highly reviewed BBQ places in New England and i left disappointed at all of them. Thats not the case at Tennessee BBQ. Its great BBQ and it's consistently good. The hot and tangy bbq sauce is amazing. I smother the pulled pork with it. The meats were expertly cooked and the sides were delicious. Top it off with a smiling and friendly staff and you can't go wrong. Give them a try.
